Hi! I’m Rachael – a homeopath in my 40's and mum of two, based in Northamptonshire.
About Me
Outside of clinic life, you’ll usually find me out walking, tending to my plants, making sourdough or generally happiest somewhere outdoors.
In my practice, I work with women, children and families across a broad range of physical and emotional concerns, particularly when things feel interconnected, persistent or difficult to make sense of.
That might involve hormones, stress and emotional wellbeing, sleep, migraines, allergies, digestion, energy, immunity, or a combination of several things. I don’t believe health fits neatly into separate boxes, so I’m interested in the bigger picture: your history, your symptoms, what was happening when things changed, and the patterns that may connect it all.
I have particular interests in women’s health and hormones, gut health and digestion, nervous system wellbeing, stress and emotional health, but the individual person in front of me always comes first.
How I found homeopathy — and why I stayed
My own journey into homeopathy began more than a decade ago after a friend suggested I try it. I’ll be honest, I was sceptical at first. But the changes I experienced were significant enough to change the direction of my life and, eventually, lead me to retrain as a homeopath.
At the time, I was working for the police, where I spent most of my 13 year career as a Crime Analyst. On the outside, I was doing all the things I thought I should be doing; eating well, exercising, keeping life moving. But underneath I was exhausted, anxious and increasingly disconnected from my body. The demands of the job, alongside raising two young children, had left me running on adrenaline far more than I realised at the time.
Homeopathy became an important part of finding my way back to myself. Over time, I felt more grounded, more connected to what my body was telling me and better able to support myself through periods of stress and change. That experience sparked a curiosity that never really went away, and ultimately led me to leave my previous career and train professionally.
I’ve always been fascinated by the balance between science and art; the science of asking good questions, looking for patterns and understanding how the body works, and the art of truly listening to the person in front of me. Homeopathy has given me a way to bring those two worlds together.
My own experience of homeopathy is still an important part of why I do this work, and it remains very much part of family life in our home. But nearly three years into practice, my reasons for staying with it have grown far beyond my own story. I still love the individuality of each case, the learning that comes with it, and the process of getting to understand somebody as a whole person rather than simply a collection of symptoms.
How I work
Homeopathy remains at the heart of my practice.
My approach is holistic, curious and grounded. I take time to listen carefully and build a picture of you as a whole person. Your physical symptoms, emotional wellbeing, health history, significant life events, patterns over time and what matters most to you now.
I’m not interested in applying the same protocol to everybody with the same diagnosis. Two people can experience seemingly similar health problems very differently, and that individuality matters.
Where it is genuinely useful, I may also draw on practical nutrition and lifestyle support or carefully selected health testing. These aren’t things I believe everybody needs, nor do I want to overwhelm people with endless supplements, tests or recommendations. They are simply additional tools that can sometimes help us understand the picture more clearly and make more informed decisions about what to do next.
What I believe
I believe good care begins with listening.
Symptoms rarely exist in isolation, and sometimes the most useful thing we can do is take the time to understand what has changed, when it changed, and what else may have been happening around the same time.
That doesn’t mean I assume there is always one hidden “root cause” waiting to be uncovered. Health can be complex. My role is to stay curious, look for meaningful patterns and work with you, rather than making assumptions about what your body needs.
I want you to feel involved in your own care and increasingly confident in understanding your health, rather than dependent on somebody else having all the answers.
What it’s like to work with me
My consultations are relaxed, thorough and individual.
There is space to talk about what is happening physically, but also about the wider context of your life where it feels relevant. We’ll look at what has changed over time, what may be affecting you now, and what feels realistic and sustainable.
Some people come to me with one very clear concern. Others arrive with several symptoms that seem unrelated and want help making sense of the bigger picture. Both are completely valid starting points.
Appointments are available online via Google Meet or in person in Northamptonshire.
My aim
My aim is simple: to help you make sense of your health, feel properly heard and supported, and make thoughtful decisions about what you may need next.
Homeopathy gives us one way of doing that. Sometimes lifestyle, nutrition or further investigation can provide another piece of the picture. But the starting point is always you.
If you’re looking for an approach that takes time to listen, looks beyond isolated symptoms and treats you as an individual, I’d be very happy to talk.

About Homeopathy
If you would like to talk through any of my offerings or ask any questions, please get in touch or book in a discovery call below.
What is Homeopathy?
A natural form of medicine which works with your body to relieve symptoms, restore itself and improve your overall health.
When looking at your symptoms, homeopathy recognises that we are all unique and addresses ‘how is it for you?’ – the individuality of your symptoms. We all experience things differently
Sometimes the body does not have the tools, or ability to correct this dis-ease to make you feel better. This is where homeopathy can help
Looks at all aspects of health; mental, emotional and physical as well as lifestyle and nutrition…. and all are interconnected
Remedies work like flicking-the-key-in-the-ignition of your car. They stimulate the body’s self-healing mechanism; the signals that work to get your engine started. You are the car and your body will decide how it utilises these messages in order to heal.
By working on an energetic level, homeopathy aims to not only alleviate symptoms but also promote overall health and healing in the body.

Is Homeopathy right for me?
Are you…
- Seeking empowerment and control over your health?
- Desiring a natural approach to healing your body?
- Prepared to explore the root cause of your symptoms?
- In need of someone who will listen attentively and take your symptoms seriously?
- Frustrated with ongoing attempts to address your health concerns?
Can you commit to several appointments?
Healing is a journey. Homeopathy is a process and it requires commitment. Successful homeopathic treatment is rarely achieved in one step but is more like a series of stepping stones. Sometimes progress is steady and sometimes there is a plateau. A problem that you’ve had for several years cannot be resolved in a single appointment.
Can you put aside any expectations of conventional medicine and remain open minded?
Conventional medicine and homeopathy do not work the same way. Homeopathy is a gentle and holistic approach to healing that focuses on treating the individual, rather than just the symptoms of a disease.

Helping you make sense of your health.
When symptoms feel persistent, interconnected or difficult to make sense of, it can be hard to know where to begin.
Homeopathy sits at the heart of my approach. I take time to listen to your story, look at the bigger picture and understand the patterns that may be relevant to your health. Where it’s genuinely useful, I may also draw on practical nutrition, lifestyle support or carefully selected health testing.
